CTD after 2-3min...

Hi,

 

i have CTD after 2-3min and i don't now why, i'm using MO and sort my plugins with Loot so i think my problem is on the left panel. I want to show you my left panel (i saw that in other topics) but i don't know how to do it, can you tell me pls ? to give more informations about my problem :)

Hello,

• I don't use MO so I can't help you about that matter.
• In case this would be useful, here is a CTDs troubleshooting page on Reddit. depending on what's happening, choose the subsections that describe the best your problem.
• Make sure you're using the good mods >> Dangerous mods list.
• Verify gamecache.

Here is a list of things that may help stabilizing your game if not already been done. :

/// Load order / mods conflicts :

• Use L.O.O.T once and click on the "sort plugins buttons".
• Create a wryebash patch including leveled lists.
• Create a merged patch with Tesedit excluding leveled lists
• More specifically, you may create a manual patch between two or more mods.

/// Cleaning and correcting potential bugs :

• Make sure you're using the latest USLEEP.
• Clean your master files to eliminate potential problems : Gopher's videos cleaning your masterfiles on the Nexus Tesedit page.
  Start Tes5edit, simply untick everything, (right-click/select none) and add only a tick to the esm/esp you want to check + update.esm, Tesedit knows what to do and will load all the dependencies automatically.
  - Begin with loading only Skyrim + update, ITM / UDR + save ctrl +s and close.
  - Then load Skyrim + update + Dawnguard, ITM / UDR + ctrl +s and close.
  - Then load Skyrim + update + Hearthfire, ITM / UDR + ctrl +s and close.
  - Then load Skyrim + update + Dragonborn, ITM / UDR + ctrl +s and close.
• The method above can be used to clean mods. LOOT should tell you which plugin you should clean. You may also do a check errors.

/// Settings / memory :

• Have you installed the skse patch ? >> memory blocks log.
• Backup your ini files and delete the files. Skyrim.ini / SkyrimCustom.ini / SkyrimPrefs.ini found in C:\Users\Utilisateur\Documents\My Games\Skyrim then use your vanilla launcher to autodetect and use best settings for your computer.
• You may install ENBOOST >> ENB graphics / ENB haxx.

/// Save game :

• Don't uninstall mods at mid-game, there are no clean save in Skyrim but using save script cleaner can help removing orphan scripts.

/// Meshes healer :

• Read here, this is potentially a cause of CTD that you can resolve by following the mod procedure on this page.

/// Useful informations :

• STEP troubleshooting page.
• Ensure your skyrim installation is healthy = Make skyrim vanilla again.
• an efficient guide to build your game : STEP.
• Papyrus log is a scripts log only and doesn't cover anything else, not a crash log. Interpreting Papyrus Log Errors, thanks to Arthmoor.

First you have to go in Mod Organizer folder profiles profile name there should be a plugins.txt, post that and we can take a look.

 

Also download LOOT from github and add it to MO manually as an executable.

 

Use that LOOT to arrange your mods.

yep i installed a few mods mid game but i just lost all my saves so i'll begin a new game and see if he still crash. And I'm already using Loot :)

you want to make sure that both load orders are matching, or as close to it as possible, to help sort out any potential conflicts unless you have a very specific reason for them not to (i.e. something like a specific texture overwrite that you want or some such).

 

it also looks like you're using ugrids to load (cell stabilizer) which is a very, very dangerous mod and will cause your game to crash eventually. it's got a bad memory corrupting error that the longer your game goes the worse it gets. it's on the dangerous mods list, and hasn't ever been fixed. you don't want to use anything that touches ugrids anyway, because that can cause massive instability in your game.
