Im having a similar problem. Ive unzipped the Star/Galaxy files into Data/texture folders, Ive attempted using the body enhancement mods, but nothing seems to be working at all. Im currently using a legal hard copy of the game for PC, Win 7 64bit. Ive got all kinds of graphic processing power, but I havent been able to see any new changes when I implement the mods.

Im thinking it has to do with Steam updating my game version/patch, this I discovered yesterday, that Steam forcefully pushed out a new "Silent Patch" and something about replacing the old TESV.exe

Workarounds? Suggestions?

It's possible that both of you are experiencing Windows UAC issues. You'd be the first cases I know of, that have issues due to UAC on Skyrim, though it's known to cause all kinds of problems with modding Oblivion (including mods not working at all). You can try moving Steam outside of the \Program Files\ directory. The file path C:\Games\ is a common place for Oblivion modders, but anywhere that UAC doesn't affect should be fine.

It's possible that moving your install will mess with third party utilities in the future due to left behind registry keys that point to your old Skyrim installation directory. If you run into any problems where third party utilities can't locate Skyrim you'll have to do a full uninstall and clean any registry entries left behind, reboot, then reinstall Skyrim. I personally recommend using Revo Uninstaller to uninstall Skyrim if it comes to that, as Revo automatically scans for left over registry entries and asks if you'd like to delete them. It's possible to save your mods, config files, and save games when doing this. Here's a link to Bben's Oblivion Reinstall Procedure which can be used to keep your old files for a reinstall.
