Help with Ogres

I just want to make this change: disable killblow animation for all ogres.

 

Problem is I know nothing about modding.

 

Another problem is that I already have a mod that is supposed to only activate killblows on boss ogres (Combat Tweaks, maybe?). But another mod, I don't know which, is overriding it. (I have a mod that modifies Ogre textures, but would that actually affect the same file? See? I know nothing)

 

However, I still want zero animations on zero Ogres, not even boss ones. So I would like to build a file and put it in a folder in the override section with a name that starts with zzzzz, so it has ultra last priority.

 

Pointers, links to tutorials, and everything else would be much appreciated.

Is there no way to turn the killing blows off???

 

Here i am in Caridin's Cross and Leliana is polishing off that one super ogre...yeah she's stabbing the side of the cave wall while the ogre is laying about 200 feet away from her. What the... :down:

Deathblow Multipliers includes a nil probability option.

Skymoves: since you actually kick ass at modding (no matter how your signature says your mods are bad) I'll ask you about my concerns:

I have Flash's Creature Rescale, Combat Tweaks, and Nightmare v2.5. Now, like I said, I wanna take this and add a 'zz' at the beginning of the name's folder so it has priority. Do you think it will conflict?

I only have a passing familiarity with two of those mods (FCR and CT) and have never even looked at Nightmare, and am uncomfortable with making an uneducated guess at whether it would work. :unsure:

Sky: installing deathblow multiplier didn't affect the ogres. It affected all other enemies except ogres. And it did mess up with the ranks of QaL located enemies. So it's a no-go for me.

 

Some mod must be affecting this. If you want to provide some help, I opened a threat called "a crapfest of bugs" describing other bugs I'm experiencing, and my complete mod list. Thanks for everything anyways.
