Along with the virus and usual malware scans, add JRT (Junkware Removal Tool) to your toolkit. It is distributed by MalwareBytes (one of the top anti malware companies) and is absolutely free. It runs fairly quickly (around 8 minutes on my large system) It kills off some of the garbageware advertising trash that some of the others miss. It also leaves nothing behind when you close it and can be run from a USB stick.

And now Avast just blocked an infection through another sudden popup while browsing your site. This is the ONLY site this happens on so I dunno what to make of that but I think I'm gonna reactivate ad-blocker on this site for a while.
