Skyrim Follower Issue

First of all apoligies if i posted this in the wrong place, im new to the nexus, basically my issue is that any Follower mods i installed for skyrim wont work, i used the NMM and made sure i had all requirment mods to run the mods and have them ticked, when i run the game several mods do work such as the mod that make dragons shout like the tourettes guy and diamonized UNP, but not the follower's for some reason, if anyone can help me get them working i would greatly appreciate it :mellow:
