Satobai Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Can someone make mod that active fire spells do light like torches? It's really strange when my hands burn and cave is still dark. Thanks.
Arkune Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Candlelight?Magelight? These Alteration spells serve a purpose.
Satobai Posted November 25, 2011 Author Posted November 25, 2011 But I don't want spell an other magic. Just add a little bit luminosity to my activate fire spell...
EvolutionZero Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 But I don't want spell an other magic. Just add a little bit luminosity to my activate fire spell... Would defeat the purpose of torches and the spell mentioned above. But without the creation kit, I don't think you can do this anyway.
Zazemel Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 CK is out, why not make this idea a reality? I'm sick of holding torches. Why not just replace the firespell light with torch lights? I can't use ck to save my life.
TwistedMinds Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 You resurrected an old thread Zazemel :] Anyway, take a look at Spells Will Give Off Light by narcovaizard. It may be what you are looking for.

ltlump Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 (edited) That mod makes your hands glow. Wall of fire makes no light even with it. Edit-trying http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39759/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D39759&pUp=1 As for the argument that this makes magelight useless, as it is fire spells especially but destruction as a whole looks fairly bad if you're using any mod that makes nights/dungeons darker. It becomes painfully obvious that your wall of fire just just a wall of fire sprites in a dark room, with no change in lighting whatsoever. I'm not looking to use firebolt to replace magelight, I'm just looking to make spells look like they should, fire makes light! *Will update after testing immersive spells Edit2-The linked mod works. I heavily recommend it over "spells will give off light", it is a more in-depth, complete version of the same idea. Also sorry for thread-necromancy. I got here through google and didn't notice the dates lol Edited December 11, 2013 by ltlump
