Ichibu
lo so i started a lizard the other day and swam all around the rivers. it was cool but i noticed something...its not so cool when me, a velociraptor man with huge sharp teeth and reptile skin, is having to flee from the water because small fish are biting me.lizard men shoudl be primal and savage, possibly even at their best without a weapon at all, least thats my thought :q so i propose that someone (id help where possible but i dont know the CKs really) make a mod for this. specs:1. increase argonian unarmed by a LOT and decrease one/2 hand - such a creature would have badass claws but poor grip i imagine2. new funciton, possibly pressing e on enemies (since that does nothin anyways) of biting at any time. specifically while underwater aswell! [[u can breathe down there, but u cant defend urself? how the f*** did u survive in a swamp??]]]. maybe absorbs health from it, maybe has increased vulnerability somehow during this aciton, a slight delay or such perhaps like with power attacks. - u have the teeth why never use them?3. if it could be animated in both view modes that would be amazing (FP camera just goes forward n back) - cuz shabby mods are shabby :P4. if it could make small creatures disappear (possibly throwing it like a t rex, to one side anim?) thatd also be awesome imo i know this is a big mod but if someone knows theyll have the expertise and wants to make it i think it would be absolutely EPIC :D the argonians would no longer be some kind of running joke, like a pigeon that migrates via airliner lolim well aware though, that trying to get animations that are anywhere near realistic would be a major task, personalyl id be happy enough to see it released as a first person only mod, im sure thatd be a looot easier and easier to make look good :q let me know if anyone can make/will make/wants to see this :) oh and of course all the same is applicable to khajit, in slightly differed magnitudes, so if someone would prefer to do that we could just do both with the power of copy paste maybe? i dunno Edited November 25, 2011 by Ichibu
Darksun45230
So you want to transform a sentient race into frothing savage monsters? Racist.
Draco856
I would just like to be able to attack while underwater...as it stands now, we can't do much of anything underwater and it bites...I have to get out of the water and use a spell or bow to kill a slaughterfish... Ichibu
So you want to transform a sentient race into frothing savage monsters? Racist. im not sure decreasing their perceived weapon grip would count as transforming them into frothing monsters.i just want them to be able to use the abilities they so very clearly should have! frankly i find it kinda retarded that theyre sooo man like. in evolutionary terms. a species that has prominent features has obviously relied upon those features to survive. if the lizard men didnt use their big serrated shark teeth and oversized mandible, those features would have been eliminated by the process of evolution, much in the same way man lost his tail. and THAT is why this bugs me so much lol give the lizards there teeth back i say!!! Lachdonin
Of all the races in TES, Bosmer are actually supposed to be the most primal. The argonians are a largely tribal, deeply spiritual people, more akin to the central african highlanders in terms of culture than to any type of beast... As i've been complaining about in the Elves thread, just because people have this preconceived notion of what a lizzard man should be like doesn't mean it has any place in TES, especially when their races are so well defined... The Argonians are TES lizzard men (one type, anyway) not D&D lizzard men.

macole
couldn't agree more. I like to see a finishing as a nasty bite to the jugular.
