Transferring mods from one computer to another

I recently got a newer, better computer. My issue is that I have roughly 250 mods on my other computer, all installed through NMM.

Can I move all of my mods from my nexus install folder into the new install folder on my new computer and still have NMM register them? I would really rather avoid having to manually add all my mods to the new NMM install on my new computer.

MO is much easier for things like this unfortunately because you your mods in NMM, if you decide to use Mo you will have to install each mod by hand.

I understand that it may be easier, but I don't plan on using it. I'd rather use NMM.

Googling this will give you several dozen threads and tutorials with the answers you're looking for.

tldr; you want to copy over NMM's \Mods and \Install Info directories for Skyrim.

Thank you. I wasn't aware that this has been asked before. Sorry about that.

Apologies for the double post, but I've ran into a problem.

On the new computer, i have the latest version of NMM. I try to activate a mod, and the box pops up, but it doesn't go through the activation process for any mods. It's being ran as administrator. Any idea what's going on?

Also, when i go to close out NMM, it doesn't give me a warning for a mod being installed, so it's not going through the process at all.

Edit: It seems I have to go through and uninstall each one first...ignore this post please.
