reveffect
There are two mods I would like to see made that bethesda has failed to implement into Skyrim. The container mod is a correction that I am surprised bethesda didn't make before releasing the game. In Oblivion, all containers had separate tabs for weapons, apparel, and what not which made sifting through storage containers for specific items so much easier than it is now. Now in Skyrim, all containers (including companion inventories and dead bodies) are not separated into categories so everything is all in one place. Sure when looting a dead body or going through the stuff in your companions inventory its not that bad because they usually won't have much on them to begin with but when I am going through my storage chests and dressers, which can have a lot of stuff in them, it can be a pain to have to sift through a dozen items just to find one piece of armor (especially since nothing is really listed in alphabetical order). So a mod that brings back the container categories from Oblivion would be very appreciated. The companion inventory mod is something that wasn't in Oblivion, Fallout 3, and New Vegas but definately should have been added by now since there is more attention to partners now (even though they are a step back from the way they were in New Vegas). One of the things I loved about Dragon Age: Origins was the ability to tweak your party members from what they wore to what items they used and how they used them (you could even strip them to their underwear if you wanted to XD). This is a feature I would like to see implemented into Skyrim through a mod because it is long over due. I know I am not the only one who is tired of trying to equip a clothing item, piece of armor, or weapon to their companion just to have them not wear it or sticking an item in their inventory for them to lug around and instead they equip it even though I don't want them too. Lets face it, the old system from Oblivion is rubbish and out dated. So a mod that would allow you to specify what items you want them to equip (regardless of what they are already wearing) would be nice. Equiping my companion should be just as easy as equiping myself. Edited November 25, 2011 by reveffect
