Zeggy Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 So without including a spolier... after a certain number of actions i have skeleton key that is supposed to be unbreakable and can use infiate times. However on trying a lock to pick im getting the message "you have run out lockpicks" Any suggestions if this is a bug or how to get around this? For what it's worth, there is a lockpicking perk that makes your picks unbreakable and perks that pretty much make even master locks trivial. Draco856 Posted November 26, 2011 Share Posted November 26, 2011 I've noticed that the Skeleton Key isn't really classed as a lockpick, it may be used as one, but only the model it seems. When I finished the "series of actions" it was already my second time doing it so I also wanted my powers. i put the key back and got my powers then I used the console to get the key again but now the ebonmere is closed like it was when the key was missing right when you fell through the floor. I've done a bunch of other stuff since then and I liked the uh lets say "unlocked" ebonmere with the glowy stuff. but i can't return the key again.
