ddub30
Hello everyone, i7 2600k oc to 4.8 ghzEVGA GTX 570 sli oc to 850 core / 2100 mem (latest beta drivers)Ripjaw X 1866 cas 8Asus Maximux Extreme IVOCZ Revodrive 120gigAsus Xonar Essence STX Win. 7 64 bit / 1920x1080 I have tweaked basic ini settings to allow trees and rocks to draw shadows and perhaps one or two other ini tweaks, nothing crazy. Additionally, I have a lot of texture packs and shader packs. I tested each add-on one at a time to ensure that they weren't the cause. Also, I reset the ini files to default as a debug attempt, which didn't fix the problem either. Now, my problem. The game runs flawlessly in every location, 60 frames, except first person mode indoors when i am near / looking at candles, flames, or any light source. My frame rate and GPU usage drops from 60 to ~10 frames and 80-100% to ~50% gpu usage. Exiting first person mode immediately fixes the problem, 60 frames and high gpu usage. Perhaps i should record it and post it via youtube so you can visually see what i am talking about, but i feel that is unnecessary. My explanation is literal of what is occuring. I'm sure reinstalling would undoubtedly fix the problem, but thats the last option on my list.

kahale
Many people have this problem. Reinstalling and or removing your mods will not help. As of yet i have found no solutions.
