mlongo555
Pretty self explanatory. I have a follower and will be getting more. They attack stuff as normal and take my XP and I want my XP. I also want the game to be a bit harder in combat usually but still have my pack mule. Is there any way at all to stop my followers from any combat at all? I have amazing follower tweaks and I thought setting my follower's combat style to none would do it but that didn't do anything at all. I've done some googling but couldn't find any threads or info on the issue, nothing about console commands, and the closes mod I could find is the mod to stop followers from attacking each other. Any help is appreciated. *edit* So I'm an idiot. I can just make my followers wait wherever and summon them when I'm over encumbered or need to sell s#*! or if an enemy's too hard for whatever reason. If there's a mod, console command, or something I'd still like to know, but I have as good as put this issue to bed. HalloweenWeed
It's still a viable issue, as you can't make some followers wait. One such follower is Serana in Dawngard. It's annoying as hell when you are sneaking into a Falmer encampment, for 15x or 3x sneak attacks, and she runs ahead attacking them - and like you said, taking your XP. hugojmaia
If the problem is the follower attacking before you are detected use this: Better Stealth AI for Followers If the problem is the followers not letting you earn combat xp use this: Dynamic Things Now if the only use you have for followers is pack mules, then dynamic things might be a great solution for you, just drop all the junk you're carrying into any chest in the world, mark it as a safe container and then use the mod's convinient "Loot all safe containers" option when you're at home.If it sounds like cheating and it's the reason you walk around with a small army consider not looting everything you see. For anything that isn't gems, soul gems or alchemy ingredients I only loot things with a value to weight ration of 200 or more. I hated most of Dawnguard for having to lug serana around while she didn't care at all for tip toeing and it's the reason I don't have any followers in my usual runs. Second time I did dawnguard I parted ways with serana twice before finishing off that questline.
