ebsixl
This has been brought up before elsewhere, but it would be REALLY excellent if someone could please remove the cape on the Nightingale armor. It would look so much better without it.
GileadMaerlyn
Done. I'm uploading it now.
Deleted2039153User
Done. I'm uploading it now. Oh nice. Was trying to do it myself but exporting in 3ds max is still kinda funky for Skyrim .nif files. Thanks a lot for doing it.
GileadMaerlyn
Here you go. Btw, I didn't remove the cape, I just made it invisible. I will remove it properly when blender nifscripts are out.

Thank you SO much! I tried to make it invisible myself, but I didn't really understand how. I really appreciate this. Cheers!
Terralventhe
Is it possible to make just specific pieces invisible while leaving the rest visible, just outta curiosity?
Mahtawa
Is it possible to make just specific pieces invisible while leaving the rest visible, just outta curiosity?Just add alpha channel to the texture and make that certain part black. It's really that easy but unless clothes are "part of body" like all vanilla oblivion stuff are (besides legs in robes) then you will see trough your toon. Terralventhe
Well, what I was considering was the idea of tearing the cloak/cape up a bit, maybe make it look more like a ripped-up scarf that leaned towards one side.

I already did it. I'll upload it in a minute. Done, grab it here: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1584
GileadMaerlyn
Nice work AlphaDragoon, but anyone without my .nif will see black instead of transparent, I think, because the original nif does not support transparency. Did you try using your mod after uninstalling mine?
