dragonslayer2k12 Posted August 14, 2016 Share Posted August 14, 2016 With the automatron DLC we get the palette options to assign paint jobs to robots, I am in the process of messing around with textures for assaultrons and I have most of what I want to do done already but some things are still buggin me. Looking at the CK with fallout4.esm and robotdlc loaded I am lookin at npcs like kleo or the template units and I can't figure out how the CK knows to stick a gunner chest decal on the gunner assaultrons and there is no options for paint jobs for assaultrons in the CK? I want to make default units like KLEO and the units found in the wild with the star USA logo have a dark green paint job for example but there is no selection for this. I'm guessing it has to be done a the materials level or the mesh level but how does the game even know to use those things? I basically chromed the assaultrons but I don't want the standard units to be chromed just any unit that goes through the robot buttwrench one time. I swear I hear that word instead of workbench every time lol. So anyway only player made assaultrons would be shiny and new looking. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Stygs Posted August 14, 2016 Share Posted August 14, 2016 If you open EncAssaultron01Gunner and click on "Traits", there is a "Object Template" button at the buttom.Thats basicly defines what mods (and decals and some other settings) the unit has by default.
