AstroZombie84
I downloaded a bunch of mods using the Nexus mod manager. Unfortunately I accidentally wiped my data folder, and had to reinstall the default data folder. However now the mods aren't in the data folder. I still have the mods in the mods folder which is in a different location. I could copy then extract them in the data folder, but I was wondering if there is way to do it just using the mod manager. Ive been playing around with it but so far nothing has worked. Any suggestions?
Oubliette
You're going to have to either get your data folder out of the trash or reinstall all of your mods - one by one. There's no short cut.
HalloweenWeed
This is one of the many reasons I use Mod Organizer instead.
jjb54
You're going to have to either get your data folder out of the trash or reinstall all of your mods - one by one. There's no short cut. Exactly what O stated. There is an "easy" of doing this: 1st - Go to your NEXUS FILES DOWNLOAD HISTORY. They are specifically linked to ALL the files you've downloaded from NEXUS. 2nd - Then, yes, re-download them through NMM. ... BUT - on the chance that NMM still shows them in your NMM ----- > do not have them "overwrite" the file, answer NO. Then when the download is finished: DELETE REMOVE THE OLD FILE, that will likely have RED 0 with a / through it. Delete that one and not the one that you just downloaded. It will be EASY to know which is which --- IF --- you have to go 'here'. 3rd - Then just click the GREEN CHECK MARK on the upper Left panel in NMM to activate the Mod. Post should you have any more questions. :)
