unrhymed
hello I've got a problem with 2 things 1. It seems like the walls, the little ones that are in the cities like fence are big yellow Triangles and I would like to stop it 2. The starting armor the prisoner clothes is 100% transparent and you cant see it, so basically all of the bums in town have no body I've been trying to use this " SBetaCommentFileName=MyBetaComments.txt " from the official site but it doesn't seem to work I don't have a oblivion.ini but I have an oblivion_default.ini IS that the same ? I want to find out which mod is creating the problem and possibly fit it. I copied Oblivion_Default.ini and renamed it to Oblivion.ini and inserted the command SBetaCommentFileName=MyBetaComments.txt mostly because it wasn't there so I had to add it myself I also created a file named MyBetaComments.txt and when I go in game pull down the console and click the object of yellow triangle and type gc "this texture doesn't work" nothing happens after I press enterand nothing is logged. Is there anyway I can find out where the yellow triangle is coming from, I know its a missing Mesh/Texture and I took the steps to see if I installed something wrong and at the moment I haven't found anything. so I am asking if anyone has used this command line SBetaCommentFileName=MyBetaComments.txt and had a problem with it and got it working or maybe know why I am encountering this problem please respond thanks
Xeniorn
You do have an oblivion.ini file but it isn't located in the Oblivion folder. It's in My Documents/My Games/Oblivion/ folder. That's where you are supposed to add the beta comments line. Do you know which of your mods replace models and textures of the clothes and walls you mentioned? Can you post a list of the mods you are using, me or someone else here might recognize the mod that's causing you trouble. Are you sure you installed your mods correctly? You can try reinstalling any mods for which you know that they replace the textures/models of before mentioned models.
