Getting the most out of a large screen?

Currently I have my PC hooked up to a 60 inch tv. I know a dedicated PC monitor might provide me with 4k resolution, better refresh, yadda yadda, whatever, this screen looks good enough to my eyes and I find a large screen more immersive.

 

My video card supports a 4 screen set up, but with 19 inch monitors I'd still have 33% less screen space than what I'm using now(don't check my math :sick:). Thing is, as I have it set now, I'm just getting the equivalent of that center monitor, only larger. Is there anything I can do or settings I should be looking for in games to make sure I'm getting the most out of my large screen?
