Ftumch
I'm still on my first char and have clocked 145 hours so far. I am part way through the main quest and don't plan on completing it until I have done everything else I can possibly do apart from the repeatable radiant quests. Spent years waiting for this game....spent the last few months in a heightened state of eager anticipation, Had to change my underpants 3 times during the day on 11/11/11. I plan on making my first play through last as long as possible. No fast travel, no coach travel, didn't even start my first quest until I was 40 hours in. Milking it to the max. Hopefully by the time i've finished my first play-through, there will be loads of quality mods available so I can pimp up my Skyrim and the 2nd play-through will be a whole new experience. conterk
Lol.. a game like this isnt made to be "finish" fast.. i'v been playing for over 100 hrs.. and my main storyline quest i think is not even at half.. xDD!! i looooove running around.. finding new places.. new quests.. talk to npcs and get new stuff.. and also.. if the quest send me to a place too far from my current location.. i just leave it for later.. hahaha i havent even found all the main citys in skyrim.. lol this is the reason why i like TES so much.. *.* the more main story quest i finish.. the closer i feel to the end.. and i dont want to finish it.. not yet.. HaikenEdge
I'm currently 42 hours 45 minutes into the game, and I've avoided the main plot like the plague, so I'm nowhere near done (or maybe I am, haven't a clue). The point is, the main plot doesn't interest me at all, so I'm just running around doing radiant missions, mostly bedlam and sweep jobs.
DOGREDRUM43130
Heh, I 've got the Dragonstone and I killed a dragon. That's how far I've got in the main quest, and I'll probably stay there forever. Me too! and I have been there for 140+ hours already! Naikado2
In the time that I've actually put into the main quest line, it was probably about 5 hours. Perhaps... 30-40 otherwise.
alphaskull
ya same here .. started the main quest line.. but rather do side quests to lvl up.. cause i have mods installed to lower xp gain and npc difficulty increase. so dungeons are crazy hard at times. so im kinda forced to find places to lvl up to finish some quests or to figure something out how to beat something.. so mobs dont give much xp.. only quest turn ins and crafting and stuffs, also i like gathering and finding ore veins.. and i rather do everything possible before main quests.. and by the time i start finishing up side quests.. dunno when that will be.. im pretty sure there will be mod quests to do and crafting to expand game time. so just a guess.. ill probably finish the main quest line.....never lol
