HELP! Can't click on data files

Hey Guys. I just created a nexus account, because I want to make your day

Follow this instructions very caerfully, ok.

 

1.go to "My Pc"

2. in there go to "Program Archives (x86)"

3. then to "The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim"

4. then into "Skyrim"

5. Open "SkyrimPref" and copy the very last line, This line "bEnableFileSelection=1" if its not =1, CHANGE IT IN THAT FILE!

6. now go to "My Documents" and into "My Games"

7. then open "Skyrim" and open "SkyrimPref"

8. Now Search for "[Luncher]"

9. when you find it, under it, copy "bEnableFileSelection=1" this in. MAKE SURE its =1

now it should look like this:

[Launcher]

bEnableFileSelection=1

bShowAllResolutions=0

uLastAspectRatio=3

 

NOW TRY TO SELECT THE DATA FILES AND TELL ME IF IT WORKED, IT DID FOR ME AND TOOK ME A WILE TO FIGURE OUT, GLAD TO HELP!

All, if you're reading this and still can't get it to work...

 

I had modified the version under the game directory, but for some reason (I can't remember why), my [Launcher] section was at the bottom of the file.

 

I couldn't get it to work for the life of me.

 

I took a chance and moved that section to the top of the file and it suddenly worked.

 

So, the position of the [Launcher] is also important.
