nofear88
Skyrim has been home to many races for thousands of years now. The Thalmer, Dwemer and the Nords are among the most widespread and were there first but all the other elven and human races have been living there abiet in smaller numbers for I would say 800 years or so? Plenty of adventeurers, scholers and so on have met thier demise in the many anchient Nord crypts thanks to the undead hordes of Nord Draugr. Surely the Draugr would add the corpses of the fallen would-be tomb raiders to thier undead ranks to make up for any losses that some Draugr may have actually been hacked to pieces? Imperial, Redguard and Breton Draugr would be easy to create as just add size variations to them aswell as slight skintone changes For Elven Draugr, you could stick Falmer ears on the Draugr and make them pass off as Elf variations. You may also stick peices of Elven armor on Elven Draugr as well as make them wield worn elven weapons such as the Dwemer, Falmer and Elven weapons etc. Same goes for the Imperial set of armors and weapons for the Imperial Dragr. You could make uniqgue variations of Imperial Draugr that were once Imperial Legionnaires who thought they could have ago at one of the Old Nord crypts that they were stationed near in one of thier many camps in the Wilderness. sirenunlimited
Thing about Draugr is that they're cursed Nord heroes of old that have committed acts of cannibalism. It makes a little sense that there'd be a few other races that might qualify for this, but I was under the impression that Draugr were specifically Nord. At least that's how I understood the fluff, correct me if I'm wrong.
nofear88
I know what you mean but although Skyrim is still a rugged, Spasly populated Provvince of the Empire, it has well been accessed by the other races of Tamriel for centuries and there is bound to be other undead of other races wandering about the cryots. I just thought they may be a few "draugr"fied people about. We see Bandits are common place in Skyrim that are made up of not just Nords, but Redguards, Imperials, Woodelves, Orcs etc and in my many escapades into the ancient Nord crypts I often come across dead bandits or live ones fighting with the Draugr. They most not not recently been at this but atleast for hundreds of years thus there is bound to be high Elf Draugr, Argonian Draugr and so on. THis also could be done for Skeletons. The Skyrim Skeletons have all Arnold Swarzenegger style Skulls and jaws... maybe add Skull variation and feminize them a bit? Queen Potema's Skull was surely a Man's skull. jartharian
well could just make zombies of the other races sence drauger is nord only but zombies being jus magic raise weither intentional or just to close to old magical items and maybe even old Dwelmer zombies after all the dwelmer seem to not get to much attention be nice sorta seeing the long dead race. Zephyr2011
The very lore of Draugrs kind of eliminates having other races as Draugr specifically. They're supposed to be either Nords who are punished for their cannibalism or who served the dragons and are now either punished for their crimes against their fellow humans or brought back to life by the Dragons remembering their former allies. Draugr aside it's perfectly logical for zombies or skeletons of other races to haunt the nordic crypts, especially those with Dragon Priests where magic is a lot more prevalent and can manipulate the corpses of far more things. So more zombies and a more diverse mixture of zombies would be an excellent addition to the dungeons of Skyrim. And I do agree that the skeletons all look the same and they need some variety as well such as height and weight differences and different bone structures on some things like skulls and tails for Argonian and Khajiit undead though I don't think the skeletons should statistically be different just based on race (a couple hundred years of rot and decay probably levels the playing field juuuuust a wee bit.)
