Sevalecan Posted August 17, 2016 Share Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) I have this issue where bandits are disappearing from dungeons in which they normally appear. Two examples are Halted Stream Camp and Embershard Mine. My issue occurs like this: for at least the very first run-through of a new game, all the bandits exist in these locations. However, if I go somewhere and wait a few days for the dungeon to respawn (using a 1-day respawn mod in my case), and come back, only 1 bandit will remain at the dungeon. For Embershard mine, the bandit at the entrace is gone, and the only one left is the one mining on the right after you enter the first room. The rest of the dungeon is empty. For Halted Stream Camp, the second run-through reveals that only the mage in that dungeon is left. I have tried for hours to nail this down to a specific mod causing the problem, but whenever I think I've got it, I go and play without that mod and start a new game and the issue repeats anyway. I thought it was Sands of Time, but came to the conclusion that maybe it wasn't. I also thought it was Qaxe's Questorium and maybe Helgen Reborn. But now I'm just not sure at all. I was attempting a process of elimination to see if the issue repeated with and without certain mods, but like I say, once I thought I nailed it down, the issue repeats in with or without a given mod. The only thing I am sure of is that SoT turns certain bandits into wimps (changes their aggression and whatnot, which I noticed in TES5Edit), but I'm not sure if that's related to my problem or not. I will also note that the bandits aren't always immediately gone on the second playthrough. Sometimes they disappear as I'm running through the dungeon. For instance, in the first room(back in Embershard Mine) the second bandit will be there, engage combat, and then just disappear. I can hear the one doing smithing further back in the dungeon, but it's usually gone by time I get back there. Sometimes I can get back there and watch him disappear too. Sometimes I kill them and then the body disappears not long after. If I write down a certain bandit ID from the game before they disappear (like b6ce1 I think for the bandit at the entrance), I am able to bring him back on the second runthrough by using "b6ce1".enable .. Though I've noticed that if bandits disappear on me while I'm fighting them, enable doesn't bring them back(Perhaps they are moved to another cell?) Any help is appreciated.
