FCOM Warcry issues?

Hey guys, just started my Oblivion playing, fan of Fallout 3/NV and planning to get Skyrim. To kill time till then I figured I would mod out Oblivion with the FCOM+MMM+OOO+OWC deal.

 

I am having an absolute horrendous time getting the mods to work, even after following instructions. There has got to be an easier way than this, for real people.

 

Anyways I am getting my mod list from here http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/fcomloadorder.html . I have been following that guide with those mods, save COBL. Can someone post a load order that it is suppose to be in? Because I have followed that one and currently I am noticing some horses (Chestnut) and some other things, enemies for one less blood something, and a few items like Goblin eyes, heart ect are simply invisible, or the item pictures isn't working.

 

This isn't the first time I've tried to tackle this insane mod and game, tired a few years back, and had seriously hoped there had been found a way to steam line this kind of stuff. It only seems to have gotten more complicated, and I'm not new to modding. Can someone please help me.

Took out a lot of the extra mods that were not active in my mods list and it appeared to have solved the horse issue, or atleast some of it as they have reappeared.

 

Still someone else posting a load order list would be awesome to compare it to.

It is highly recommended that you install the FCOM mods from a clean install of the game. That being said, there is a specific install order as well as a load order. You can't take any shortcuts as it will surely mean failure in some way. Even if you do everything right, there is a chance that things won't work and you will have to do it again.

 

I follow these instructions: Here It is very important to do what is said to do with Wrye Bash as that is the key to getting all of the mods to work nicely together.

Hey thanks for the reply and sorry for the delay. I got to tinkering and searching and found I needed to rename the MMM BSA. So I am currently free of green corpse and invisible objects and corrupt images.

 

I'll take a look at that link, but mainly now I'm curious where I need to have the artifacts mod and COLB stuck in at. Also looking into DarnUI. The files are there just not active. And thankfully it was a clean install.

 

EDIT: just checked the link and the post is verbatim the post I linked in my previous post. Just on another forum. I just need to know where to insert these other mods now.

BOSS sorts your load order for you when you run it. Be warned though, if you open your mod list in the oblivion launcher, it will change the order on you, so never look at your load order in the launcher. Edited by Keirgarth
