mattlok
Hi Everybody, I am new to the forum here, but have been using the Nexus mod for about a year and love it! I just got myself a new system to use for gaming and i tried to copy over all my Fallout 4 files (including the saved files and steam files) as well as my Nexus Mod folder and files *** over writing the native installation *** hoping that all my settings will be there. But when I ran fallout 4 on the new computer, all my mods were reported missing when I loaded up a saved game (well past the introduction Vault). I also turned off my steam sync just in case. So when I went to open my Nexus Mod program, all the mods I copied over were missing on the list (via category). All the mod files were still there and the esp files were all in place. So i manually installed all the mod files using the existing downloaded mod files so that they would register and activate. Once that was done, my saved game ran with no missing mods, but now my meshes for things like NPC, clothing, armour, guns, etc were randomly missing. I know there was some instruction to backup the files, but the instructions to restore did not correspond to the latest Nexus Mod version. Any help is greatly appreciated. I don't want to finish my Fallout 4 game on my old system (as it was starting to lag due to the mods installed). Thanks, Matt.
