Thulgar Posted November 27, 2011 Share Posted November 27, 2011 Hi all,Oblivion makes me go mad atm-,-A while ago I messed around with a few landscape mods and had some trouble with my game.Now I came back and tried to fix this (I wasn't able to enter Chorrol. Game ctd without any message every time I came near of fast traveled there.Not quite sure it was the only city I couldn't enter. However I tried some compability patches and cleaning dirty edits but that didn't work. After that I tried going to another zone and doing some quests there (didn't help either) and noticed I'm getting frequent (And I really do mean quite frequent) CTD's (with the message 'Oblivion has stopped working' ) in all other towns but I'm able to enter them.I've also tried making a new character, but the problem doesn't seem to be save game related.Didn't receive any crashes in the sewers, the wilderness around odills farm and the imperial city so far, but that could just be luck.Tried installing some crash prevention tool and now I'm able to enter Chorrol but the frequent crashes do still exist and at some point in the town (about the mid north) I again get the CTD without any message...-,- I'd be very glad if someone could point me the way of fixing my game.
