Old Weapons?

Is it just me or does anyone else prefer a weapon that looks like it has been around for hundreds of years?

I really like weapons that have notches and nicks in them, a bit of rust and dried blood doesn't hurt either.

All of the pristine weapons just bug me.

Anyway thats just what I think. Not that you care, but just in case.

I'm just really terrible at making meshes and textures. And pretty much everthing else.

Bael I couldn't agree more! for a world where there are more bandits and bad guys than villagers (which has always bugged me even if it is understandable for game play reasons) there is way to much nice shiny stuff lying around.

Some of the "bandit with glass armour" problems were sorted out with the great mods, but what I would REALLY love to see is people bring out Mods where there are broken off swords and a wide variety of really old/ or just 'crap' armour and weapons. Again things like the "Bone club/axe" go some way to solve this but not far enough I say!

A tamriel with nothing above steel - and 10 different choices of heavy armour below that - (eg plate, scale, etc) - and weapons that are equally as primitive compared to ebony - (eg bronze sword, big rock) - would be simply great.

Though everything would have to look dirtier to though - again all credit to blood and mud for that amazing piece of work - now for the rest of the world.

On a side note - why after crawling though dungeons and swimming in swamps does my character never get muddy? - bloody yes, but no mud in this entire game?

enough ranting for now....

but those odd 'bricks' that are lying around in some cities - no idea why they are there - and haven't you ever just wanted to pick one up and beat some poor bandit with it..?

... maybe thats just me...
