visual errors in Regrowth mod

Have noticed a problem using Regrowth. Various sections of smaller branches in trees are completely missing, including leaves. I've tried a fresh install of the mod -after uninstalling it- but this hasn't fixed the problem. Not aware of any conflicts with other mods. Wanted to know if anyone else using Regrowth has experienced this themselves, and if they were able to find a solution to fix this ugly glaring visual bug.

-centre of image, tree just to the right, lower branches mainly. I vaguely remember having this problem with a similar mod for Fallout 3 several years ago...
