raap1
I've noticed that everytime I try to steal something from shops etc. a guard comes in and arrests me, why is that? I tried to sneak inside shop without noticed and there was nobody to see, still the guard comes right after I take something to my inventory or open some cases or doors... Any help? Exodus1161
get or make your own chameleon spell, it is better that invisibility because it doesnt go away when you use something
CoolCat6
You need to remain in crouch/stealth mode whilst taking items. Apparently you did not do this?
Ravensolt
Make sure nobody is following you, which shopkeepers tend to do.
raap1
I was just walking inside houses and stealing stuff... does the crouching/hiding work if you have autorun(caps lock) on?
Madgod Fanboi
Well, being a veteran thief/looter/pickpocket, I think I can give you a few tips. 1) Scout the place in the morning, and go in at night. Make sure no one is on the street when you go in. 2) When you pick the lock and go inside be sure you're sneaking, and that you remain sneaking inside of the building until you're back outside. 3) Be certain the shopkeeper and inhabitance are asleep. It's pretty easy, eventually all of it becomes second nature to you. I made my regular income off of stealing as my first thief character. A fun challenge using this method: Steal as much as you possibly can in one night. I did this the first time in Bruma.
