My game is taking WAY to long to load

Okay so I'm not exactly sure when this started happening but my game takes about 4 to 5 minutes to load a save and 2 to 3 minutes for entering and exiting buildings, fast traveling, etc. I'm also able to "out run my game" meaning just by running normal speed I can leave the loading zone. It also takes a few minutes to take out a weapon when selecting it from my favorites menu. I currently have 93 mods installed but I only use about 77 on my default save (the rest are just a bunch of joke mods that I activate every once and awhile). I have an Intel Core i7, a Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 and 12 GB of RAM (if that even matters). I've disabled all my mods but still no change in load times, I've reinstalled the game multiple times but still no difference. Any idea what could be causing this?

I'm using the latest version. I only have the Automatron and Far Harbor DLCs. If that matters

Long load times used to be an issue with older versions of the game, but that problem has mostly been fixed now.

How big are your save files. Could you have a save bloat problem?

Also, are you using a SSD or HDD? SSD's make a huge difference.

The other thing, and I'm not sure if it is still relevant, is that users of nVidia cards had issues with long load times due to using a locked refresh rate. Iirc, changing this made a big improvement on load times.

I think my save files are normal most of them are about 5,000 KB

I don't have an SSD (although I should probably buy one)

I am using an nVidia and I've already unlocked my refresh rate

I invested in two 500Gb SSDs which I run as a 1Tb RAID 0 disk array. FO4 savegames typically load in less than 20-30s :)

I want to see what's in it. IF you installed the wrong data, it will cause massive lag on launch and in game.

It was also linked to how mods were activated using the old method and then if you change the range at which lod textures populate. I have a lot of hi res textures and and my lod ranges are pretty far so I can sees gud. My load times are around 3+ minutes.
