ok, about 15 seconds to load the game using only Fo4 default game files.

OF all the mods listed, I have only the assault riffle mod.

what I don't have is the pipboy..period so I can even look into the games history.

what mods here remove the pipboy ? I am not aware of any PDA types.

as far as load times goes, the data you have here running is invalid due to the game engine not being able to auto spawn the pipboy.

Use console:

player.equipitem 21B3B

to get the Pipboy back

there are several mods available that remove the Pipboy.

thanks but it's kind of irrelevant if the main control system is off line during game play. The pipboy being off line kills access to in game controls as well as game content. What ever it is causing that to occur makes the game invalid. you can not progress with knowing whats to go next.

I already knew the console commands any way..that's not the point, the saved game had in it a lot of incomplete quests stored, cycling over and over.

Basically Junk.

I have the Unequip Pipboy mod. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15342/?

However when I disabled the mod the pipboy completely diapered from my character (Probably the same thing that happened to you). I usually always have this mod enabled so I've never noticed this before. There isn't really any way I can delete the mod without it taking the pipboy with it. So is there anything I can do or should I just reinstall the game and start a new save?

in game menus after removing any mods you may or may not have installed launched thru steam directly, you choose new game and there it will set up a brand new episode of the game.

In order to Enhance playability, you can use in game mod's and browse to Bethesda to reinstall those mods you once had, the ones you like most should be there now. The saved game archive such as it is, you made available to me was corrupted.

I use Mod organist, IT shows me all the mods the archived data contains. But the internal data it was storing was corrupted. Just Junk which brings you back to the OP here.

A new profile after steam re-verifies all data will Ensue if you go thru the motions of removing outside managers in Fo4.

once an established game is created...then NMM or what ever is used to run Fo4 will recognize the new saved game on launch.

clean.

Understand? your going to be running a true steam game thru steam first to establish a good ground base to operate the game's software with.

you stay away from 3rd party tools until that takes place and Have what you need to play the game raw as shipped.

Once the game is running and there are no faults you can see, then when you DO use a 3rd party program, you will instantly know if a problem crops up.

Shed any doubts first.

Alright so, I've deleted all my game files (including my saved games), uninstalled Fallout, and deleted all my mods. once the game was done reinstalling I started a new game and it didn't load. The loading screen was actually infinite and I couldn't load into the game. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Did the steam menu say anything about the condition of the files integrity?

------------

wait..back up one minute...how did you go about things and in what order?

2nd. C:\users\username\ Apps\local\Fallout 4 folder, delete that data.

C:\users\username\apps\local\temp <---delete all that garbage in there.

close steam down and rerun it. then verify steam game integrity again, this time post what is says

when it's done.

IF there are files, INI files in C:\users\username\Documents\My Games\Fallout 4 ? delete them "Before verifying game files so steam reinstall those."
