My game is taking WAY to long to load

I loaded up that pipboy mod you linked me too and ran with just fallout 4 and it, the package comes with loose scripts as well as a esp file.

Now here is what is rather funny ; This mod Enabled the disable achievements in steam for the game, I took the liberty to make a screen shot of the incident.

This is the first time I seen any mod Enable hard core Beta Test mode in my games. Steam properties is supposed to handle that, but here, when I load this mod up ?...Something talks to in-game engagement and forces the player into that mode of operation and should not do that unless I enable the mod mode from in game menu...which I have not done.

The game will load any loose files in the data folder OR any files any manager enables and gets written to any place the data lists are stored @

During this moment I did in fact notice things now taking place in the background that should not be there at all. A lag of some kind, it loads up the machines ram to almost full, I have 64 GIGs of Phisicl Ram so it's not going to happen here, any machine with less than say 16 gigs or at that will lock up. OR Loop.

Curios about the data, I loaded it up in the CK and it locks that up too. The pipboy dis-abler Enabler mod does this.

Now the question is why? Looking into the matter matter now. Not using any 3rd party tools Either to verify things with.

Very strange condition's here. Your saved game file in 7z format was saved off line. So I have that to work with.

Did the steam menu say anything about the condition of the files integrity?

------------

wait..back up one minute...how did you go about things and in what order?

2nd. C:\users\username\ Apps\local\Fallout 4 folder, delete that data.

C:\users\username\apps\local\temp <---delete all that garbage in there.

close steam down and rerun it. then verify steam game integrity again, this time post what is says

when it's done.

IF there are files, INI files in C:\users\username\Documents\My Games\Fallout 4 ? delete them "Before verifying game files so steam reinstall those."

First, I disabled all my mods on the nexus mod manager

Second, I uninstalled Fallout on Steam

Third, I went to Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Fallout 4 and deleted everything in that folder

Fourth, I went to Documents > My Games > Fallout 4 and deleted everything in that folder

Lastly, I reinstalled Fallout 4, once it was finished I launched it started a new game and got stuck at an infinite loading screen

e so yet or have not gotten, passed The issue yet ,open the spoiler in my signature in there you're going to find Microsoft tools for Windows 10 now there are two possible choices for downloads and you're going to want the second one that installed service packages for Windows 10 the latest version of X-Live, Control software for Windows 10 and games that use live DRM.

it also installs DirectX compatibility codex for Windows 10.

you see when you hit the panic button and start on installing and deleting things you end up taking out all the support software as well it took a while to install to begin with this is something you really can't undo just like reinstalling the game it also involves installing software the game relied upon like video driver compatibility dll files which come from to set up package from X-live during it's scan of the games you may have and install the appropriate matching files for them

Okay after a few days I launched Fallout again and started a new game (I didn't change or do anything). Well it worked, I was able to start a new game and all loading problems I had are gone now. I played the vanilla game for awhile but now I'm starting to download mods again (one at a time and only mod I really want). So I guess everything is solved for now, I'll make another reply if any other problems come up. So, thanks I would've never found out that my saves were corrupted or that the pipboy mod was causing this. So, thanks again!
