eleventyhundred3 Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 in the skyrim follower mod "recorder" i cant find second file in quest "tracking lost files" i have searched for hours, maybe even a real life day now! anyone know where it is? can someone give me a picture?

ZXJohn Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 I had trouble with this one too - here goes:- From the cave mouth of Eldergleam Sanctuary (literally the cave mouth - I walked into the cave by accident), face almost North.- three trees are in your view, one close, one at the top of the hill and a smaller one some distance away, just behind the second tree.- go North to the second tree; it's ~9 paces away.- 5 more paces North, you're at the shoulder of the hill.- turn Northeast; in front of you is one of those strange off-white calcite formations that look like a series of weird nested bowls on top of each other.- the formation is 10 paces away; the file is on top of it, on the Eastern lip.
sirdano35 Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 im playing the xbone version with recorder. i have searched the area you described, and the entire hotsprings area. 18 hours later im starting to think the xbone version got boobed up and its not there somehow. any idea's? should i try reloading the mod or wait for a patch? she's a cool follower and id hate to have her quest stuck forever. if anyone has any info as to what happend myself and others would be groovin. thanks xD

Resolvement Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 I'm having the same issue but I picked it up and the game bugged out to where it finished and didn't let me move or anything even after reloading so I don't know, I've progressed and it's still gone but didn't count towards the quest which really sucks cause I want to continue the story for her
nubaseline Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 (edited) Turning off clipping will allow you to get the file in the first place, (it is beneath the 'pool' where it is supposed to be) and waiting a couple of times when the recording bugs out fixed it for me. However I doubt no clip is an option for xbone players sorry if that is the case. x Edited December 26, 2017 by nubaseline
Jackses Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 Yeah, turning off clipping unfortunately can't be done on XB1. I've searched everywhere, though, and that's the only suggestion I've found. Does anyone know a way to get it on XB1? I really want to finish the quest.
