CTD When entering Whiterun

So I literally just remodded my skyrim game, deleted all the mods, reinstalled all fresh up to date ones. Now my only problem is after starting the game with the Alternate Start - Live Another Life inside Breezehome I can't leave I continously crash to desktop and I don't know what's causing it. To be honest I tried my best to make sure nothing is conflicting and I don't really have much stuff that can conflict I really just installed things to make my game look pretty. I don't really know how to post anything to help, but if I were to go through the logs that were generated (I'm using MO) what should I be looking for?

Hello,

Here is a list of things that may help stabilizing your game if not already been done. :

/// Cleaning and correcting potential bugs :

  • Clean your master files to eliminate potential problems : Gopher's videos cleaning your masterfiles on the Nexus Tesedit page. You may use this updated guide to clean your masters. It contains the same automated cleaning procedure as Gopher explains in his video + repeating once for Dawnguard.esm + some selective manual cleaning.
  • The method above can be used to clean mods. LOOT should tell you which plugin you should clean. You may also do a check errors.

/// Load order / mods conflicts :

/// Settings / memory :

/// Save game :

/// Meshes healer :

  • Read here, this is potentially a cause of CTD that you can resolve by following the mod procedure on this page.

/// Useful informations :

Hope this helps.

if you're using Mod Organizer then you need to make sure that both of the lists of mods match. if the mods don't have an esp then they can go pretty much wherever, but if they have an esp and they aren't in the same order it can result in crashes. i've tested this a lot myself, and it makes a pretty huge difference. try reordering them so that everything's loading in the same order and see if that helps at all. if not then at least it will help make sure things are more stable once this problem is figured out.
