nayvala
I'm not intirely sure if this is an unavoidable conflict or a bug or something else, and I'm not sure if its fixable either, as I've already tried a lot of things. The problem is as following:I recently got the TES construction set on my computer and enabled the dark seducers and golden saints as playable characters, this all worked fine, except I have Rens Hairs installed (just the hair) and I can't put that on the golden saints. Now I did make the hair active for those races in the construction set and updated the mod, thinking this would make it work as it seems to do for the other races, but it doesn't. Instead I cannot change the hair at all anymore, the other hairs work fine if I do nót put the rens hairs in for the extra races.I noticed a follow up problem when I tried to put Golden Saint eyes on my dark elf with Rens hair, once I made it possible for her to have those eyes, and tried to change them in the ShowRaceMenu, it would show blank space where the hair is supposed to go, and if I attempted to change it all the Ren hair was gone, also it doesn't work to save through exist->save as if something is wrong with it. I had to turn the eyes off again as it has no use; so why is this conflicting? And.. is there anyway to fix it? If its not complicated coding I can probably fix it myself, I just don't have a clue how. Help would be appreciated. (I'd mostly like to know how to get both Rens hair and the Golden Saint eyes working in a dark elf character, its the top priority, if you know how to fix that and not the other thing, please also mention, it'd be a nice start). leetgamer
Why with Ren's? It doesn't really look good. Try Beautiful people with Soya's hair pack. That should fix the eye thing, I'm not sure there is a Ren + Beautiful people. You can try and search tho.
Abramul
Only one mod can alter a given race. So, your best bet would probably be to edit Ren's (or whichever cosmetic mod you want to use) so that Saints to playable, and add the whatever hair and eyes you want within that mod. (It may be that only one mod can alter ANY of the races, not sure)
nayvala
Only one mod can alter a given race. (It may be that only one mod can alter ANY of the races, not sure) I actually tried that; editing rens hair itself to set them playable and then adding all the hair I want to use on them to the race, but for some reason that makes it impossible to even change the hair at all. It might be I accidently left another file on, so I'll try that same thing again with all other files off just in caze. Thanks for the advise. nayvala
I got it working now. I edited my own edit first, to make sure I had no simultaneous stuff that doesn't work together as in both editing the race and edited all the edits I wanted in Rens hair mod, and it does work now! I think I just made a mistake when I previously tried it, like accidently leave something clicked thinking I didn't ending up in thinking the whole idea wouldn't work. But it works now, so thank a lot. Also for future things when I want to add/change something to races I'll know I have to put it all in the same file for it to work on my oblivion. Nice to know. So thanks.
