skyranger-1
Files from my project are not downloading correctly. Instead, a bit of html is getting prefixed and postfixed onto the .zip files. This is happening for all files of my project including ones that I'm sure worked a day or two ago. It's not happening for at least some other projects files. I'm not sure why. The project of mine in question is Enhanced Magic System. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14750 Also, I tried to upload another copy of the latest file. It doesn't download any better, and I cannot delete it either.
ResidentWeevil2077
That's normal behaviour of the site - it's simply a means for the server to differentiate between all the files that are uploaded. I'm not an admin, so don't take my word for, but I'm pretty positive that's how things work.

I'm not quite sure what you are saying, but I'm completely certain that what I was talking was not intended behavior.
ResidentWeevil2077
Show me how the file name looks and how it's supposed to look. EDIT: To clarify, is it the file name or actual file?
skyranger-1
Show me how the file name looks and how it's supposed to look. EDIT: To clarify, is it the file name or actual file? The file itself. Users went to it a few days ago and downloaded it and unzipped it. Now if they go and click on the download link, they end up with a file of the correct name, but a larger file size. If they double-click on it, they get a message saying "this file is corrupt". ResidentWeevil2077
That's weird  - I've never heard of something like that before o_O I guess you'll have to wait for Dark0ne to help you. I apologize for trying ;)

I apologize for trying ;)Well, thanks for trying to help. Dunno if it would help anyone, but the error message I get on trying to delete a file is:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '.' in /home/tes/public_html/members/do_deletesinglefile.php on line
Merilia
I don't know if I was getting the same issue, but I also couldn't open any zip files from the site--it kept telling me they were corrupted. Other file formats worked just fine. Oddly enough, opening these corrupt zips with winrar worked ok, it was just Window's compressed folder app (the one that comes with the OS) that couldn't handle them. I know that at most a week ago, this issue didn't exist. Edit: and someone commented on my mod that they were getting the same problem, which is how I first found out about it. But I tried downloading a .zip from a random mod after I started having this issue, and it worked fine. So only some .zips are having this issue. I've tried the downloaded .zip files with windows built-in zip stuff and with the classic pkunzip (4.0). Both reported the files as corrupt, but pkunzip successfully managed to extract the contents anyway, binary identical to the original esp file. The file size for the downloaded .zip files are larger, and examining them with a text or hex heditor shows html code from the download window (click here to download from the chicago server, that kind of thing) added to the begining and end of the file. skyranger-1
Well, it's been 16 hours since I reported it now. The main problem remains unchanged. However, the 2ndary problem has gone away: I can now delete files from my project.
