Scorpio9
Both are to childish looking for my taste, but if I had to choose I would pick dragon (light). For heavy armor, I must say that falmer armor is best designed peace (that I've encountered) in game. jdelay82
dragon plate looks better than daedric, but i love the look of the simple iron armor! its great, esp for my Nord barbar Edited November 28, 2011 by jdelay82
ShadowscaleB1980
The best defence is having a high block skill - armour isn't all that important on my character, I just wear the Ebony mail - a Daedric artefact which gives good bonuses to sneaking and killing. Though I have my partner Farkas decked out in full dragonplate armour. The best defense is to rip your oponent to shreds before he/she/it even notices you. that's a legit point of view, though personally I prefer to give my opponents a chance....and to see the whites of their eyes as the killing blow falls upon them.
Matth85
I find the dadreic to look badass. I also find the materials to be easier to find. 25 ingots in 20 minutes, 6 hearts in another 3 minutes. So indeed the armor is not that importantI am playing on master on my heavy armor + 2 handed warrior. No abuse of crafting, so only partly upgraded to legendary and no enchants.I got oneshot by a Bandit marauder. To make it better, there were 2 of them in the same keep, both oneshotting me. Armor is very, VERY, important. I also had a dragon eat me from full hp (finisher) on my mage, since I forgot to put up my alteration spells to give me 150ish armor rating.Fair fight right there! Bunik
that's a legit point of view, though personally I prefer to give my opponents a chance....and to see the whites of their eyes as the killing blow falls upon them. That's very sadistic. I like that. I would like to see a special move with dual daggers that would pluck the eyes of your oponent. Then you could decide to leave him be or finish him off. Loot possilbe in both cases muhuahahahaha.... haaaaa I think I went too far.

I know they should have some Pai Mei type character sitting on top of a tall mountain that is able to train you in unarmed combat, with the final lesson involving eyeball plucking and the five point palm exploding heart technique. Perhaps he can teach you a shout that causes people's heads to explode. http://www.scottjanousek.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/paimei.jpg Edited November 28, 2011 by shadow_scale9180
elvinkun
I don't think there is an actual reason to go on offending people who say Dragon armors are nice. They are. Personally I like Ancient the most tho... And yes, technically, Daedric is the best.
Bunxii
Deadric is obviously better, but there isn't a light armor variant of Deadric so Dragonscale is my preferred. But the best looking outfit is after you kill the leader of the Dark Brotherhood, her outfit was just to cool to pass up.
SHO3LACE
Yea Daedra armor has a higher armor rating then dragon armor but it weighs a ton compared to dragon. This is only a problem if you don't have the make armor weigh nothing perk. Daedra hearts are not that hard to come by if you know where to look either. Plus I think Daedric armor looks better. AndrewWaltfeld
I would say... dragonscale or whatever is the light armor. I didn't like the look of deadric armor. Too spikey, too large shoulder pads etc. Just looks... absurd to me. Dragonscale light armor had a nice balanced between them. Dragonplate is... alright.
