Draagushnahk
I've been toying with this for a while now, and the process seems different to the way I managed it in FO4 (race health+health in NPC entry=final health, so I edited the health in the NPC entries mostly). Editing the health in the NPC entry seems to do nothing. Is the only way to change an NPCs health to raise or lower the health offset? can you use negative values to lower their health? 489 with health offset -389 to reach 100 health, for example. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Darkstyler35
Hello, I write the details just in case it would be helpful to some others.Load your plugin with Tes5edit.<Editing the health in the NPC entry seems to do nothing> check there is not a mod that already edits the NPC or may be your NPC is managed by a script ?.Once loaded, in the left pane, expand your mod and the non-player character sub-section.Always in the left pane select your NPC and in the right pane, scroll down till Health. Righ-click / edit the value.Ctrl + s to save and alt + F4 to close.Hope this helps.

Exactly what I tried, just tried again, no mods installed, spawned the NPC in to test, still 489 health (used the getav health commmand to check). So should that method of editing work? Seems strange that it isnt, even without any other mods...
Darkstyler35
I think this should work, unless your NPC's health is managed by a script. I don't see what else could prevent this to work. May be an expert will have a different answer.
Project579
Have u tried using the creation kit other then TES5Edit to change the NPC health? That will probably work if the stats are not managed by other mods in the setup.
Draagushnahk
Strangely enough though I've made a few mods I haven't really explored the creation kit. What would I need to change there, the same values?
Project579
yes load the mod u want to modify and edit the settings if u are using mod organizer u would need to modify the mod from the mods folder or move the .esp file on data then launch the creation kit outside of modorganizer load the mod and the rest is pretty similar to TES5Edit but with a better interface u can search for the actor to modify double click on it and a window with all the variables/settings will appear. Try searching for a video on how to load a mod on the creation kit and modify it because i am not really good with explanations.

Mostly just messing with the templates now, though for anyone else who comes across this thread you need to edit the 'boss' entries separately as they have different offsets...
