Return of a Proper Vanity Mode?

I don't know about anyone else, but I was very disappointed that Bethesda dropped the old 'Vanity Mode', in favour of the new 'chase cam' view.

I'm talking about the way that you used to be able to rotate the camera whilst you moved, rather than just when motionless, as it is now. So if anyone has worked out a way to get the old camera behaviour back, I'd be eternally grateful for a posting here in this thread. I realise of course that it may not be possible until the Creation Kit is released (or indeed ever - if the bloody thing is hard coded!) One can but hope.

Incidentally, I also hated the way the camera shifted slightly when you drew your weapon or spell, but I did correct that by making additions to the ini file.

If anyone else hates it, you can remove the camera shift by adding the following three variables to the bottom of your Skyrim.ini:

[Camera]

fOverShoulderCombatAddY=0.0000

fOverShoulderCombatPosZ=-10.0000

fOverShoulderCombatPosX=30.0000

:psyduck: WHY I would love a Toggle command for Animcam= its what the F key Should Do if you Hold It Down And Walk Forward, but hey i'm just a guy that likes to hold down on they attack button to delay a charge swing/stab/thrust/chop before my stamina drops out.. :rolleyes: Edited by CORTANA16
