jackalhead
What program do you recommend I use for extracting .NIF files?

jackalhead
Perfect, it works. I got the meshes extracted. Now one more question. I am trying to use NifSkope to open up skeleton.nif files, but I keep getting ""failed to load file header (version 14020007, 20.2.0.7)"" and it won't load the file. Is there an updated version somewhere I can use to open these files?

Is there an updated version somewhere I can use to open these files? I just found out myself, all you have to do is to download the nif.xml file from here: https://github.com/throttlekitty/nifxml and then just add it to the main folder of nifskope. I have yet to find a way to open them correctly with blender though (assuming you actually want to change the mesh and not just reuse it), but if/when I find out I could update my post.
