TheMasterLink12
Ok so I'm working with two mods that overhaul the texture for children (removes potato heads, makes them look good and stuff) However, one mod overrules the other so they aren't both active. I like most of the textures from one mod but I like some of the kids textures from the other. Is there a way I can take the texture that I like and place it in the other mod? I would like a step by step process or a link to the procedure on how to do this. Thanks!
ToppDog
Assuming this is for personal use & not going to be uploaded anywhere, you'd have to edit one of the mods to include the textures from the other mod to make your own custom version of the two mods combined. You'll have to copy the textures you want into your edited version, & then you will have to edit the .nif files in nifscope to make them use the new textures. That's about as far as I can take you, as I'm no expert on this. There are lots of tutorials you should be able to find now that you're on the right track, & maybe people who know more than me will chime in too. Good luck! NexusComa
All meshes have a line to get it's textures. You can edit this in NifSkope. If you make a custom mesh (aimed at new textures) you can rename the object using mesh (create new). Then archive the mod with it's new custom meshes and textures.
