Major Suggestion

It's already been done

There is an online Oblivoin. I don't run it at all and I'm not asking anyone to help develop it. I'm asking people to re-configure for it... that's why I provided a link. I'm not running Oblivion Online. Another group is..

And as I keep saying over and over again, right now you can host your own server, other people can connect to it, you can talk with each other and play with each other

I wouldn't have brought these suggestions up otherwise.

It's a working prototype, version 4. Version 5 is coming out within the next 1-2 weeks

Hopefully you guys can see the link to their site now---- I've already linked this once

Apparently you don't seem to understand the current stage of the project. There's no synchronizing of mobs, player race, player gender, or player spells between clients. Meaning that the health of what creature you're fighting with a friend is different for each person, so in one instance the mob could have been killed, while in the other the mob killed you and your friend. Meaning that the person you see in game may be of a different race or gender than what they show, and their face, hair, skintone is generalized. Meaning that if a player uses a non-standard spell, like one made with spellcrafting, it will only have an effect in their instance, while in the other nothing would happen. They also seem to have problems making walking animations work... In that other players just pop from one place to the next. Calling it a prototype is giving it way too much credit for what it is now. In computer terms, the project is still in the early alpha stages. The reason why it is being released publicly in this state is probably more for trying to get attention and hype so that people don't stop to think about all the stuff that doesn't work.

Again, I still don't understand why you're even going on about this here. Even if it did mean that some of this community were to get interested, chances are they would be people who would be unable to provide anything useful to that community. Even as far as getting people interested in making mods that work with it, most of those mods cannot be made until after the project has managed to make more things work. Afterall, who's to say that they'll even manage to find ways around the many problems they have ahead of them.

Additionally, this idea has one huge problem... You have multiple worlds which are trying to talk to eachother, rather than one world which players are merely connecting to. As long as you have multiple worlds trying to share information, you'll always have problems trying to synchronize everything without an excessive amount of scripts running.

I'm not suggesting that what they already have isn't meaningful. They have managed to do alot with what is available to them, I'm just saying that the project probably won't be able to go all the way with things as they are, so trying to build mods based on something which is subject to constant change is an act of futility.
