smallazaling
Copied and pasted from another thread: It seems as if wards in the restoration tree are highly situational and not very reliable, yet they have potential to add so much to gameplay, especially for pure mages.First off, the staggering effect when the ward breaks seems a bit unnecessary, especially because there's no HP meter for the ward so you don't know when to stop casting it. And considering their fragility, the mana cost per second seems a bit excessive.I think one way to remedy this is to make a perk for the restoration tree that slows down time when you use the ward, much like the Eagle Eye perk for archers when zooming in. This way, you can utilize wards more effectively by allowing yourself to give more time to switch between warding and casting spells, and know when to stop casting the ward so you don't get staggered by it breaking.
