I don't find crashes in Ob all that rare. Are you saying it does it every time?

 

There can be a problem at that point if you are using a modded character. If you are, you may need to advance that particular quest via the console. An explanation as to how and why is found on the UESP website (and probably here if you search under Grove of Reflection).

In the quest grove of the shadows my game crashed while I activated the green stone and my shadow appeared. Does anyone have any idea why it did that? My game had worked just fine until that quest.

 

Shivering Isles isn't loading at all in my game. Any one have any suggestions? OBMM isn't showing any conflicts with any of my mods

Supposedly, the SI quest updates itself with the “I heard a rumor…” popup one day after you install it (I believe it’s one day without sleeping, though I cannot confirm that – I just installed SI and dungeon crawled, which took a day and I got the update automatically).

 

I run MMM along with a few mods like the goddess store and Mannequins – don’t know about OOO but that may cause conflicts? I am using Oblivion mod manager and OBSE 14

I'm not getting the update. I am not running OOO or MMM. The SI .esp is in my load list, and OBMM is not detecting any conflicts. I'm having trouble with a number of mods running correctly (or at all). Most of them are not that complex either.

 

Deadly reflex is the most complicated mod I'm running, but it only partly works, (the decapitations and "killbill" anims are not working) but I've inactivated it because it creates confilcts with Knights.esp

 

I have the GOTY edition, BTW.

Nevermind. I probably wasn't getting the message because I am running no more annoying messages. I didn't think the island was loading because I'm used to playing the 360 version, where you can see the island out in the bay from the shore next to Bravil. I finally swam out there and the island was there after all, but it didn't appear until I got rather close. The odd thing was that the map marker wasn't appearing, which is part of why I assumed it wasn't there...

 

Now, if I could just get all the parts of Deadly Reflex to work (as well as a couple of armor/ clothing addons)...
