GLRPrem
Hi guys, I'm a total noob, as I just am starting to mod. I downloaded the nexus mod manager, and when I ope it, it tells me to pick a game. So I pick Skyrim. Then, a pop-up appears titled Skyrim Location. It wants me to choose the location of the skyrim game directory, which I believe is in my Program Files(x86), and it even has it chosen...C:\Program Files (x86)\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. When I click ok, the pop-up just reappears, nothing changes. I click auto-detect, and it doesn't find anything. Help? :wallbash:

kyor176
I have a similar problem; when i'm in the mod manager settings, it says that my skyrim directory is my desktop. I try to replace the adress with the actual Skyrim directory (once in the Data Folder, and the other without) and after clicking 'OK', returning to the settings, the adress is back to 'Desktop'. Help would be greatly appreciated.
velaxun
I'll chime in with the same issue. Had to move my skyrim directory and now when I try to update the mod manager it refuses to change the game directory

Help? :wallbash: Now shouldn't it be in Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim? That's what the folder is anyways and I believe it won't work otherwise, also, how have you managed to install it outside the Steam folder anyways hmm?
