Animation/skeleton/lighting bug

Hello,

I've just switched to MO and started installing mods.I've been following Gopher's guide for the most part and occasionally started the game to check that its working.However when i started the default intro sequence i had the jumping cart bug so i installed alternate start.After that everything seemed fine so i continued with the mod installs.

After installing some other mods(FNIS,followed Gophers guide,xp32 maximum skeleton extended,immersive animations and Dual sheath redux and some other minor mods)i started the game again with alternate start mod and chose Breezehome as my starting location.When i went out Idolaf Battle-Born had a weird red triangle thing around him.I looked online and found very little,I tried reseting my INIs but that didnt work.After messing about(which i probably shouldnt have done) i got the red shadow on the main menu logo and loading screen items and the actors/characters ingame also had been frozen/not showing animations including my player character.

I ran LOOT, DSR skyproc patcher and the FNIS patcher both before and after but that didnt help.

i reran the DSR patcher and the frozen characters seemed to work again(all the running and walking animations).I did however merge the files from the SkyProc Patchers with the corresponding mods,I didnt create separate mod in the MO.

I also should say that i ran skyrim without any mods(not even SKSE or SkyUI)and everything was fine so i guess it must be the mods.From my limited knowledge its probably the skeleton or animation mods but my limited knowledge and guessing is what did this in the first place.

Yuo are missing a lot of stuff in load order: how to install Perma:

You need SKSE and SkyUI for some of your mods to work. You will need to know how to make a merge patch with TES5Edit and a bash patch if u want to use Perma. Well i havent even tried to correctly install PerMa actually as i figured it didnt have anything to do with lighting.And the load order is kinda butchered because i have been messing with mods.i do have SKSE and SkyUI installed and i believe they have been installed correctly as i have been following Gophers guide for MO.The thing that i am interested in is what the whole red shadow thing is.I will check this guide out as i really havent looked at instructions for PerMa with MO.I have a few screenshots but i cant figure out how to upload them.

Thanks for responding and for linking the guide anyway,I might just restart the whole mod installation seeing as i am using MO and the base game is fine.

If you are going to reinstall start with texture mods and then install Perma and the related mods after those install the rest, anyway if you are a noob you should not start by installing things like Perma if you want to modify the perk tree u can try Ordinator: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68425/ and can u please post your ModWatch: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56640/

Hey just wanted to let you know that i have reinstalled most mods without any animations/skeletons or skyproc patchers.I ran the game and everything seemed to work fine so now im just watching all the perma tutorials and i have a question:I want to run PatchusMaximus obviously but i also want Dual Sheath Redux which requires FNIS and xp32MSE and from what i can tell i need to run PatchusMaximus first and then install DSR.I would just like confirmation that I should do it in this order.

I also found out about SUM(SkyProc Unified Manager)and i was wondering is it better to use that or run the patchers separately.

And one final thing is should i clean the masters from the base game through mod organizer or just run TES5Edit from the exe.

 

Anyway massive thanks for putting up with my noobness and whatever else you need just say the word.

Install all the mods you need; run FNIS, then PatchusMaximus and DSR ReProccer in the end.

For cleaning the masters with TES5Edit you should run it inside Mod Organazer and create a mod with the cleaned masters so you don't touch the Data folder of your game (TES5Edit Cleaned masters and backup should finish inside the Overwrite folder put the backups back into your data folder and make a mod containing the cleaned masters).
