Project579
open console and type < help "commoners vest" > read the id the first 2 letters or numbers are the mod; example: 4F000989----->4F mod number on load order is 79. Hexxagone
How does 4F equate to 79? My game says that the first 2 are 4E. Edited August 23, 2016 by Hexxagone
Project579
Yes that was an example your number should be different skyrim uses hexadecimal you need to convert it into decimal to find the number on load order that number will correspond to the mod that added the item. HalloweenWeed
4E = 78. That said, you may still not be able to identify the mod, as I don't know if the HD DLC counts, and if so does each of the four or so esm's count?Dragonborn DLC = 01Dawnguard = 02 And do mods without esm's count?Anyway, it might give you an idea, perhaps narrow it down to half a dozen mods. Project579
The HD DLC doesn't add anything....... the esp is a dummy. and yes every mod has its own number esm or esp.

It will add an item into your invetory which allows selecting an .esp from your load order durring normal gameplay and copies all the items from it into temporary player inventory. With SkyUI you can use search function/filter by typing Commoners Vest in top right corner.
