maniczombie
Has anyone else found this? If you try to make an assasin type character, when ever your caught in a combat situation where you can't hide, such as attached on the road or against a dragon priest or dragons, that they get completely owned in 2 hits.. I have to resort to relying on my once a day ability to go invisible when i sneak for almost every encounter where i'm caught off guard.

maniczombie
I sware the part i'm stuck at is just being cruel.. wondering on a road I've run into 2 wolvs, a cultist assasin who can 2 shot me, a guard.. and then out of no where.. a dragon falls from the sky. so much for being subtle.. i'm stuck in a battlefield here = /
frapfap
what difficulty you got it on? cuz as long as yur wearing all leather, u get tremendous bonus's from the light armor perk tree and make night and day differences Edited November 28, 2011 by frapfap
maniczombie
I've only just got the shadow warrior perk, although it doesn't appear to have much use against guards and town folk.. Not had the chance to test it properly in a dungeon yet though. Normal, although I have been lacking in the light armour department.. It doesn't level up because most the time I don't get touched, it's when i get caught out I'm not prepared for =( Edited November 28, 2011 by maniczombie

Just walk up to them and introduce yourself, then melt their faces with your magical fire... dont see the problem here. Or as my assassin (yes FOUR s's in there) usual does. "OH NO, YOU HAVE SEEN ME.... These are not the droids you are looking for (cast calm, sneak, backstab, laugh)

Pushkatu
I think it's normal. As an assassin, you should be able to kill just about anything and everything in ranged combat or sneak assaults, but get your arse kicked in close combat. Add your 10 potins to your stamina when you level up and outrun your enemies with a long distance sprint. My sneaky assassin can clean up a dungeon without effort(a little mayby if there's a strong boss), but he's quite useless in open places, unless he hides and awoids the enemies. He can kill a cave bear in 1-2 hits with good gear and in sneak mode, but in close combat, he is killed almost instantly. He also has a hard time killing dragons, which is awesome since many people complain about how easy they are to kill.
elvinkun
Well, I admit that getting pinned offguard with your little dagger and ultra light armor can be a pain, but that's why it's good to have things like conjuration too... Summon a few friends to entertain your target while you doyour thing.
