deadbard
f12 does nothing, prt scrn does nothing, nothing to clipboard nothing to file, good luck man and I would recommend not installing fraps it slows your fps down a fair amount, I've given up with it and trying snapshots.Ah, I don't give up easily so I finally found a way. Run the game in windowed mode and do Alt + Tab to switch to Snipping Tool then do a Window Snip of the Skyrim window.
Deleted48091378User
Guys I guess I discovered Something. In the Skyrim Folder where there's your saves, check a notepad called "SkyrimPrefs". After this, check in the [Display] Area to see how your command IScreenshotIndex is. If it is 0, You won't be able to take a single screenshot, and you should let it 1 to do so. Check this link https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:SkyrimPrefs_INI/Display#iScreenShotIndex To understand better what I mean. This issue of screenshot is surely a weird type of headache. bearbelly333
Guys I guess I discovered Something. In the Skyrim Folder where there's your saves, check a notepad called "SkyrimPrefs". That line didn't exist in my SkyrimPrefs.ini file (located in > Documents\My Games\Skyrim), but I added it to the [Display] section of the file. Thanks!! [Display] iScreenshotIndex=1 Note: You'll get a notification in-game (top-left corner of the screen for me) that a screenshot is being saved, and the screenshot gets saved directly into your Skyrim game directory as a standalone .bmp file,e.g., 'Screenshot1.bmp' (use the 'PrtSc' button to take the shot)
Lexigon5
How to Take a Screenshot To take a screenshot, all you need to do is press the printscreen button (PrtScr) which is located in the top right area of standard North American keyboards. When you take the screenshot, you'll notice a short, one second pause in the game. This will save your screenshot in the game directory. It should be located in the Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\ folder, which should be in C:\Program Files\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\ unless you have installed Steam to a different directory. (Mine is just in C:\.) If it doesn't seem to be taking any screenshots, try checking Users/(username)/My Documents/My Games/Skyrim skyrim.ini file to make sure the bAllowscreenshot function is set to 1 instead of 0.Yes that worked. Screenshots are in the skyrim directory listed as screenshots
