Ovennamedheats
What are the advantages of playing pc games on a monitor vs. a 1080p lcd tv? I would rather play on a bigger screen(32 inch lcd 1080p Insignia) vs. 18-20 inch LG monitor unless there are some factors unknown to me that would negatively impact the experience. Guest deleted2630050
TV's (Especially bigger ones) typically have a slower response time compared to monitors with the same resolution. That could make gaming on a TV rather difficult.
FMod
This depends strongly on the TV, actually just its electronics. Size only matters in that cheap TVs will will not have complicated electronics and will also be small. You have to check online for an "input lag" test for your specific model number (not just general name). Brand-wise, Sony and Philips usually have very little input lag, even on high-end units, while other brands vary broadly between models.
Ovennamedheats
I assume input lag refers to you push the jump button and the guy jumps a second later?
