So, I just bought the game and am loving every part of it, my internet was giving me problems so I had to wait two hours two update and play the game. After that when I was playing I got shot with an arrow.... and I realised that after playing for more than an hour after being shot with the arrow the arrow still doesn't wanna get off me. It's annoying the crap out of me. Is this because I'm playing in 3rd person? Can anybody please give me a solution to get rid of that annoying arrow.

Am I the only one finding it awesome with an arrow perfectly in the middle of my eyes! These bandits can aim!

And they said an arrow to the head would kill you. Ha! I proved 'em wrong.

It was a setup by the guards, can't you see!? They always keep whining, "I was an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow to the knee."

They also got tired of the fact that you kept ruining their peaceful days by committing crimes against Skyrim and her people. And in your defense you always said that you were a thane of the jarl and demanded that they let you go.

So simple solution, they manage to get some to shoot an arrow into your knee.

Now you must spend the rest of your days in Skyrim as the sole dragonborn to have wasted his talents in guard duty. Hope you like being a guard in Winterhold! That's where you're going after all the trouble you've caused. :)

Don't worry there will be other dragonborns who hopefully won't take an arrow to the knee or have any reason to get one.

;D

In all seriousness though, it should disappear after a while. Just give it some time. I had a similar thing happen to me recently. The arrow had been there for a while and then just disappeared all of a sudden. I wouldn't worry about it. Just go about playing your game.

I had to become a guard though.... DUN DUN DUN!!!11

And sorry if the jokes were excessive/over-the-top. Couldn't help myself

EDIT:@Matth85, yeah, I don't exactly like that. Bethesda, could have been a bit more realistic about this. Why couldn't they just have looked at part of their code from Fallout and implemented it into Skyrim so that at least someone who doesn't have decent armor rating (and decent looking armor) would flat out die from a head shot. It's looks so effing stupid and annoying when I shoot a bandit right between the eyes and the arrow practically goes through to the other side of his head and you can see it going through to the other side and he's still charging at me like some sort of mutant regenerating human.
