Also when i try to download big items, they don't show up as a folder, just an uknown item and when i try to open it with OBMM or internet explorer it says it's not the right thing to open it. liike that apachil goddess store i tried to down load several times.

PLZ HELP! :wallbash:

Lastly, i have some questions when i want to download something do i want to open it or save it.

and finally if a plugin has meshes and textures, does that mean i have to save over the meshes and textures that i have?

THANK YOU!!!

PDF? Who would make a PDF!? I'm sorry; I can't help you there.

This I can help you with, however. I'm assuming the file extension is either .rar or .7z, right? Windows can't open those. You need a software program for that. A couple examples are WinRAR or 7-Zip.

Either, if you want to keep an archive of your mods in case something happens so you don't have re-download everything, then save it, extract it to the Data folder, and copy the original file into your designated archive. If you don't care about backups, the open it, copy the files to the Data folder.

The Vanilla meshes and textures are in .BSA files, so no. Unless the new meshes and textures overwrite meshes and textures you have from already existing mods, you won't overwrite anything. Just copy the meshes and textures folder into the Data folder, and when it says to overwrite, say yes. All that does is overwrite the folder, itself. The contents will be left untouched except to add new files.
